We have good news to share for all our CRSD families and alums! After some early spring cleaning, our library has extra copies of our yearbooks dated back to 1959 and even some as recent as 2023! If you’d like to secure a copy for free, please inquire with Mrs. Kimberly Bell at kbell@centralreg.k12.nj.us to see if there’s a copy from your year!

Two of our fantastic CRSD coaches were named to the Athletic Hall of Fame at Ocean County College at the end of last year! Coaches Steve Stout of the swim team and Mary Kate Sullivan, All American soccer player 2013 and 2014. We’re proud to have such dedicated staffulty in our ranks! #SoarTogether

Thanks so much to the Tigger Stavola Foundation, which returned to CRSD last week to help educate our students about the dangers of drugs, alcohol and vaping. In his energetic presentation, Rob Holla, speaker for the day, empowered our students to make healthy decisions. #CentralSoars

Last month’s Ocean County championship swim meet was led by the amazing talents of our student athletes. Our boys’ and girls’ teams placed 2nd and 3rd respectively in their divisions and our swimmers dominated the categories. Special shoutout to swimmer Drew Westhoven for earning “Swimmer of the Meet.” Let’s go Golden Eagles!

You are invited to our 3rd annual Black History Celebration, Wednesday, February 26th in the High School auditorium. The reception begins at 6:30 pm and the program is from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. Our theme this year is Art and Activism- A Culture of Resilience. Enjoy special guest speakers, student performances, and much more!

Last month our amazing United Sports Club faced off against Brick Memorial in their first ever basketball game. It was a spectacular display of determination and sportsmanship, with CRSD winning out in the end. But the real prize was the friendships our students built with their peers! Great job, Golden Eagles!

At CRSD we know how to have fun, especially when it’s for a great cause. This year's class of 2027 fundraiser saw CRMS and CRHS staffulty face off on the basketball court. The price of admission went to the class and towards Toys for Tots. Over 250 toys were collected!
